The cross is where the horizontal meets vertical. This serie of paintings is about internal dialogue. Horizontal as todays way of life: we often walk on the surface, hurry, chase deadlines. The vertical as a halt, a deep thought and spiritual elevation. Internal streams, internal dialog and search for some kind of balance or harmony. It is therefore not a Christian symbolism. A great role in the pursuit of the transcendental perception of the series is played not only by the size, but also by the fact, that the paintings are essentially without any tangible structure. It seems like something that happened, that it was not made.
